My students come from many diverse backgrounds and experiences. What they all have in common is that they are bright, talented, and energetic! They are eager to learn about their world and delve into new and exciting experiences. They come to school every day with excitement on their faces, ready to take on new challenges.
They are hands-on learners, working to build strong foundations that will prepare them for their futures.
Active learning opportunities are a hit with these kids! From reading to math, they challenge themselves each day to gain new experiences and grow as learners!
My Project
Students need STEM materials to help them prepare for their futures. Working with materials like magnetic shapes, interlocking discs, and engineering toys offers students a chance to become critical thinkers, collaborators, communicators, and most importantly, innovators.
Science, technology, engineering, and math are subjects relevant to many, if not all, careers.
In our ever changing society, students need exposure to the concepts within these subjects in order to prepare for their future occupations.
It is my hope that by offering students a multitude of STEM materials within the classroom, they will become engaged in the learning process and become critical, out-of-the-box thinkers.
