My students are amazing, resilient, and hard-working. Despite our remote location, they challenge themselves every day. I am proud to watch them grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Together, we empower each other.
In our class, we build, taste, blend, concoct, dissect, observe, and learn by doing, and with your help, we will continue to help our students gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to be successful in school and throughout their lives.

My Project
Financial Literacy is a skill that we can use our entire lives; This project also gives students opportunities to make money decisions and make mistakes now instead of in the real world, where it's TOO LATE.
This project creates a hands-on simulation environment where students get 'paid' for jobs, use our classroom banking system, pay bills like rent, mortgage, and utilities, invest, pay fines and fees, and run a classroom business; All the things that adults do and think about on a daily basis; all while still in middle school.
In my Business Finance class, students learn valuable life skills in a hands-on, experiential way where they are able to gain both experience and expertise to avoid becoming victims of debt. The treats and gift cards provide incentives to students to save and invest and go the extra mile to gain tangible rewards.
With your help, we will create a hands-on simulation environment to give our students that head start into the world of money and finances.
