Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Sitting on bottoms is overrated; my students learn from doing, not just watching and listening. My students are very active, and it is hard for them to sit still and just listen to lessons. When lessons are delivered through games, fun activities and fun stories, they love it and learn much, much more. Right now we are completely online distance learning.
I have fourteen girls and ten boys who are all precious and beautiful, and even though they come from a Title I school they all have the potential to excel in academics, graduate from college and have very successful careers.
I am the teacher who needs to give them a strong foundation in math, science, PE, visual arts, music, social studies, reading and writing to make sure their career dreams come true.
My Project
Help everyone of my students really soar in reading with these sets of little books that teach 47 of the most frequently used words in print and phonics skills!
These book sets come packed with a whole lot of learning that can be kept neat and tidy at home in its 5 by 2 inch square box.
My students will love these playful box sets of stories that each of my students can open up their own small box stored neatly at home and choose from up to 12 different wonderful stories and read them all by themselves and together as a class on zoom.
They will really love learning at home with these great book sets. They will be having so much fun, that they will not know they are learning.
