I have a group of twenty amazing four-year-old PreK Students. We are located in a small rural district in northeastern Oklahoma. The majority of the schools in our district are Title I. Our community has a very high Native American population, as it is the home for nine Tribal Nations. Many of my students are experiencing being in a school setting for the first time. We are preparing them and building a foundation for them to continue to become successful scholars.
My classroom is a place where we can explore the world around us. Our class is the first time my students are in a school setting. With the little learners, a big part of our learning, is done through play.
We are asking for a doll house with dolls that are just our size.
These dolls are bigger and softer, perfect for our age. Since we learn a lot through play, this doll house and dolls will also introduce us to different ethnicities and students with differing abilities. We can not wait to get our hands on these new toys for our classroom!
