Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help us listen to a wide variety of music without having to deal with scratched or lost CDs!
I am a special education teacher and I teach a preschool, self-contained class.
My students have varied disabilities including speech and language delays, cognitive delays, gross/fine motor delays, and autism. We spend our day doing many activities to help the students learn and develop the skills that are delayed.
My Project
One of the students' favorite times during the day is Music and Movement. Music helps us with transitioning, focusing, calming down, and last, but not leas, having fun! Having this iPod and iPod dock in my classroom with allow the children to do many activities which involve music. It will also save me a lot of time because a lot of time is spent looking for a specific CD with a specific song. A lot of times the CDs are scratched up due to the many times we have used them.
This project is very important because my students will be able to sing and dance to a variety of music during music and movement.
We are in need of music and with all the new technology, the iPod and iPod dock will make it easier for us. Please donate to this project and help in allowing my students to benefit from the many wonders of music!
