My Project

The goal of this project is to revamp the curriculum with relevant and contemporary books that will engage and empower students.

The books for this project will educate students in critical media literacy--teaching them how information is spread, the history of news, and the status of the information and news world today.

Through reading these ideas, students will learn how to prepare themselves whenever they confront information because they will learn how to determine its credibility, purpose, and biases.

Ultimately, the texts for this project are necessary to prepare students to adeptly filter through the information onslaught they face each day.
