Help me give my students a variety of tools that they will need to be successful in school; books, personal white boards to help with math and literacy, book bags to take books home, and personal folders.
My first graders come from a wide range of ethnic, religious, socio-economic, and ability groups. Our cute suburban school is a fantastic place for them to learn, play, and grow within a caring and supportive community.
Help them have access to a library filled with engaging fiction and non fiction books.
First grade is such an important time for reading growth and I want to make sure that all of my students have books that are perfect for them. My class loves to read and they need a lot of variety in our library to keep them engaged and excited about reading all year long.
My Project
We need some basic materials in class.
The personal magnetic white boards will help students with math, as well as literacy.
They will be able to use magnetic letters to help them spell words and focus on letter sounds. We are incredibly low on level A-C books and my struggling readers would love some new choices in our classroom library. They will also be excite to use the book baggies to take books home each day.
