Literacy Tools to Spark Interest While Teaching Remotely
Help me give my students resources that will target and support literacy intervention. These tools will be utilized while teaching remotely and when we return to the classroom as well.
In my classroom, I truly value student-centered learning! My kindergarten students are energetic, curious, and inventive. All of my students enter my classroom from various experiences with a wide variety of background experiences to draw from. It is such a joy to seem them engaged and excited to learn and grow.
It is a priority to ensure all of my students feel loved and a valuable part of our learning community.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with my students and their families is a very important aspect of my teaching. Every day is a new adventure, and I’m so blessed to have these 20 wonderful students.
My Project
These tools were specifically chosen to support early reading skills during literacy lessons as well as during intervention times. The cards, letter cubes, and tools will be projected to students while teaching remotely. Once we return and are able to have in-person classes I plan to use them in small groups to better support my struggling readers. The tools and activities purchased from Teachers Pay Teachers will be used to differentiate, excel, and support all learners in my class.
I want to be able to offer engaging and interactive literacy practice for all students while teaching from home as well as when we return to the classroom.
