Help me give my students learning tools for little hands! Specifically, I am looking to build our literacy library with new and updated literacy that interest them.
My students are the best students I could ever imagine having. Each student shares their unique upbringings and experiences contributing to a wonderful mix of all kinds of students. We are currently a Title 1 school, with 50% of the students receiving free or reduced lunch.
My students are young, energetic, and eager to learn.
They are in the beautiful time of their life where learning is contagious and they want to know more! I can't wait to feed that hunger for knowledge in their first year of school.
In my classroom alone I have multiple English Language Learners, students with diverse special needs, as well as students with and without prior school experience. My students have many different needs and experiences, and I pride myself on how well my students blend their lives in my classroom.
My Project
The tools I have selected are going to bring my students both literacy and fine motor education. Our classroom will be able to use current up to date materials to learn with. The tools selected come highly recommended from other kindergarten classrooms in high need districts.
It is my hope, implementing a new and improved learning library will motivate my little learners to read and practice their literacy skills.
My students will be using new leveled readers of their interest to practice their reading. They will have new manipulatives to build letters and words for literacy practice. With the new requested materials, our students will gain great experience and a love for learning.
