Help me give my students the gift of reading! I want to create a literacy library where classroom teachers can check-out resources for their small guided reading groups. The racks and bags will help us organize our materials!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Title I - Reading Intervention teacher. I, and the paraprofessionals team whom I work with, services students from kindergarten through 5th grade. We focus primarily on helping struggling readers acquire new strategies for decoding and comprehending text. This is a large task in my Title I school.
Together we services nearly 150 students everyday.
All of the students that we service are reading significantly below grade level. Unfortunately, there are many other struggling students who are not able to receive services for reading (or math) due to the high volume of need in the building. My goal is to implement a system which helps classroom teachers have access to high quality reading materials they can use in their classrooms. I believe that joining forces, so that teachers can offer high quality tier 1 intervention, is the only way we will be able to bridge the gap in this Title I school.
My Project
The bags and racks will help to organize the literacy library space I am trying to create! The literacy library will be a resource for the classroom teachers. They will be able to check-out high quality reading curriculum and literacy resources to better service their guided reading groups. Providing the teachers with the tools and resources they need to be successful as professionals will set all of our students up for greater success. Each bag in the literacy library will include 5 copies of the leveled guided reading book, the lesson plan, and graphic organizers to aid in the teaching of that text. Teaching is a tough gig, and having reading resources readily available for teachers can help improve their practice.
These racks and bags may seem simple, but they are the organization tool I need to improve reading practices in my entire building!
We already have the curriculum. I just need these bags so I can take it out of my closet and make it user-friendly and accessible to teachers.
