Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
At my school, "Every Student Counts and Every Day Brings a New Success!" Our students come to school each and every day ready to take on the world and to learn, challenging themselves to be better than they were the day before!
As an educator in my 3rd year of service, it is such a blessing to be able to work alongside the best student scholars and educators in the country!
My school is committed to providing its students with all of the resources that are needed to engage students in rigorous, dynamic and inspirational instructional activities. There may be times when we do not have what we need, but we have taken on the "We can't yet..." not a "We can't..." attitude. All of the resources we want to provide to our students are available to us through the magic of DonorsChoose.org thanks to donors like you!
My Project
Currently, I am looking for tactile alphabet cards, rhyming word games, word family flip books, and letter recognition materials that will help struggling learners achieve mastery. These materials will provide opportunities for the students to learn the letters, words, and rhymes in an interactive and exciting way.
Pre-K should be engaging, fun, and full of hands-on experiences.
Supplying students with proper materials for hands-on experiences is key in their learning. These resources will be put to good use and will help to make a big difference.
