My Project

Our students are wonderfully bright and curious! Science is an inherent place to be curious and inquisitive. We, as a school, are focusing on disciplinary literacy. That is, literacy within our respective subject areas. I would like to supplement our classroom library with some new reading options.

Each day we have a school-wide "Reading Block," where the students spend 10-15 minutes reading a book of their choosing.

I would love to include more fiction and nonfiction selections in my classroom library, to give the students new choices and opportunities. They are welcome to browse my classroom library and check out science- and STEM-related titles that interest them.
