Pre-kindergarten students are the best to teach. They are growing, learning, and discovering new things everyday!
I teach a mixed age group of 3-5 year olds with needs varying from being "at risk" to having special education goals.
Every one of my students is at very different levels of development and learning and I enjoy watching each one of them grow and learn their own unique pace.
I am honored that I am able to teach and support my students.
My students love to play a variety of games; board games, bingo, matching games, card games and more. My classroom has several games that address numeracy, shapes and colors. However, we are lacking a variety of literacy games.
When my students play games they are excited about learning.
By adding Lakeshore literacy games to the classroom such as the Early Language Folder Game Library, Launch and Learn Language Game, Learning Letters Activity Center, and Pop and Match Beginning Sounds game, my students will build their literacy skills through fun game play.
By adding more literacy games to the classroom, I will be able to support my students literacy growth in a way that is fun and exiting to them.
