My students are fun, creative, and amazing human beings. They love coming to school every day and truly love to learn.
I know that I have future doctors, firefighters, teachers, and lawyers in my classroom.
My goal as an educator is to give my students the skills that they need to be successful in the classroom and the world.
Every day we come to school to play, learn, and grow together. Everyone brings their individual goals, triumphs, and struggles together into our classroom where we strive to grow into the best people that we can be.
My Project
My first graders next year will be coming to first grade after missing the 3 final months of kindergarten. This means that many students will be behind and not academically ready for first grade.
COVID-19 has taken valuables from all of us; for these students, COVID-19 has taken their valuable time in kindergarten.
To supplement what students have missed in kindergarten, I need various materials to help students bridge the gaps between kindergarten and 1st grade. Some of these materials include magnets, rhyming games, sight word puzzles, and much more. These materials will help my students develop a lifelong love for learning along with their literacy skills.
