My Students

My students are 25 bright fourth graders who come to school every day eager to learn. These students are inspiring to be around every day. They strive to perform to the best of their abilities and find new ways daily to learn the new curriculum. They also do a great job of encouraging their fellow classmates to be successful, providing any assistance they can. These fourth graders have the potential to make a positive impact on the future of America!

My Project

We need math and literacy centers in our 4th grade classroom. During each math and reading block we learn new concepts such as main idea, making inferences, story elements, geometry, place value etc. These centers will be a fun and engaging way for students to practice the concepts they learn. Students will love having the opportunity to play the new games during centers. These centers allow students to take ownership in learning the concepts they were taught in the classroom. They also cover all the strands of common core learning standards. They will make learning fun again in the classroom!
