I teach a group of very unique and very incredible students. The students attend a public school program for students with special needs. My classroom is often their first experience with school. Each student is unique in their needs but requires a specialized structured program in order to meet their goals. Individualized instruction is provided in order to maximize their learning.
My students inspire me daily with their ability to grow and learn.

My Project
The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students are to create a literacy center. The whiteboard dividers will be used to create a quiet space in the classroom and will help students to stay focused. The dividers can also be used to write or draw on.
Because my students are so young and have special needs they need manipulatives in order to understand concepts.
Manipulatives​ create opportunities for hands-on learning. The materials requested focus on early literacy, specifically letter knowledge.
My students are such unique learners and this project will help them to continue to learn are grow.
