This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is incorporating reading and art. My middle schoolers miss out on lots of SS and science curriculum because of time restraints and we only have PE as a special in our school due to inability to find staff. Combining art presentations with reading will help the children express their love of reading and learning visually. By recreating SS events or science projects the children will develop a deeper love of both subjects while learning how to work cooperatively with peers, pitching ideas, and trial amd errors using real life scenarios.
