For many of my students this is their first experience in school. They are very excited to go to school, meet new friends, and learn new things. They have so much to learn academically and socially. The students come from families who like to be involved in their child's education. My students attend an IB school and participate in the Primary Years Program. This program is built upon inquiry based learning so the students will become internationally minded during school and later in life.
My Project
Donations to this project will help provide different literacy and math learning stations to a kindergarten classroom. Each day the students work on different literacy and math skills to help them become better readers and mathematicians. Each of these activities focuses on a different skill the students need to work on.
Every subject builds upon literacy and math skills and it is important to help the students learn these skills early.
These different stations will allow the students to work on activities independently or to work on them together. These activities will help the students get closer to achieving their reading and math goals for the year. The students will be more engaged with fun, hands-on station materials.
