Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students are eager to read! A good majority of the families we service have limited resources. Donors choose will assist in keeping our scholars engaged, on task and learning!

My students are special because they truly want to learn!

My Project

The use of computers is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in English/Language Arts. A new laptop with the whiteboards will allow me to see exactly what they are doing on the chromebooks, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. By having a centralized laptop, LCD students will be able focus on increasing their learning!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
