Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a very diverse group who are willing to learn. What makes my students special is that they are very independent little thinkers who just need the right resources in order to emulate their scholarly minds.

Secondly, one of my most favorite characteristics about my students is that they are very persistent against all odds in Baltimore City.

These students have faced many obstacles in the short lives they have lived in this world. I love how they can take the negative and turn it into a positive outlook.

My Project

My students need file folder games to keep practicing their phonological awareness and skills. These file folder games are catered to multiple skills and multiple levels so that each child can be successful.

My students also need the science sink or float because STEM is extremely important for students to think critically instead of just right and wrong.

The students will also enjoy playing in the water.

My students also need more craft items where they have more freedom to create things they want to create. This will help my students to become more creative.
