This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
These hard-working students attend a Title I city school and are 97% African American learners with a substantial special education population. The majority of the students are functioning slightly below reading comprehension levels according to the district's projections. These students are low performing in the area of math. They are a fun-loving, creative group who are "owning" their learning as best they can. This community of learners is prepared to work to succeed; they understand their roles and responsibilities as it relates to their education.
My Project
These five Amazon Fire Tablets will be an effective and efficient tool to aid and maintain student motivation and achievement!
These tablets will serve as tools to connect to module themes and content at their fingertips.
Tablets are a gateway to enhancing research capabilities while reinforcing 21st-century skills.
My students will have increased opportunities to practice difficult skills, improve reading fluency and comprehension abilities while engaging in profiled based activities. These tablets will aid in providing more efficient feedback and build rigor for every learner and their instructional mapping. Please help us to increase the use of technology to enhance our academics with these fun and purposeful devices!
