My students need a CD player and four headphones to set up a Listening Workstation to enjoy the read aloud stories.
Also they need comfortable chairs for this center.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very active and like to move and dance all the time. They enjoy working in small groups and love centers.
The majority of my students come from low income families.
On top of that, we recently were affected by hurricane Harvey. Most of them lost their homes and personal belongs.
They enjoy books and read aloud stories; they love big books and like to draw and paint about their favorite part of the story or main characters.
My Project
Working in small groups and centers will help my kindergarten students to develop their social and cognitive skills.
A listening station with a special sit for every student in the center will help them improve their listening comprehension and reading skills.
When children work in small groups with only a few other students at a time, they not only learn reading but other important lessons about cooperation, compromise and focus on a specific task.
The stem bins will also help my students to work with their fine motor skills in small centers; they will learn in small groups using the construction games, magnetic ball, and rod construction set.
