Help me give my students a wireless listening center. We have one now but it’s so old it’s literally falling apart. Also, the wires are all tangled up every time they go to use them.
This project expired on August 7, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My kindergarten children this year are children that come from a low-income environment. I want these children to know that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to and that no one can hold them back, no one but themselves.
My children are bright and ready to learn but many times we are lacking materials for them to do a project with the best materials possible.
Children are expected to know how to read and write by the time they leave kindergarten, and I want to be able to provide them with as many tools as possible for this goal to become a reality.
These children also need the assurance and support of an adult to let them know they are special and outstanding. I have children going through divorce and children with only one parent. These children need assurance, support, structure, and love. I hope to be able to provide them with the love and support they so desperately need.
This listening center will help my children get more time participating in the center than wasting time trying to get the wires untangled every time they have to use the center. It’s hard enough to sit still, the wires really limit their mobility.
With the wireless headphones, the children can sit at different locations in the room without worrying about the wires holding them back.
I know my children could be more engaged by not having to worry about plugging anything in and having the liberty to move around if and when necessary. This listening center would be a wonderful addition to our classroom and I know my children would be so excited.
