Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am blessed to spend my days with sixteen bright seven and eight-year-olds. These students have such a desire to learn and explore the world around them.

The students in my class are inquisitive and curious.

Their curiosity has led us to hatching chicks and observing butterfly lifecycles. We have spent time researching and creating videos about the Ancient Maya, Ancient Egyptians, and building pyramids. They love learning and exploring.

My Project

Students in my class are blessed to have access to iPads to continue learning and researching on. They read books, complete lessons, and grow their reading and math skills on some amazing apps. Unfortunately with 16 kids in the room the sound can become overwhelming.

Students on technology having headphones have will help them grow and learn more; The gift of quiet for those not on iPads will allow them to maintain their focus.

The headphones that students bring from home often last a month or less. They deserve good quality materials to continue learning and growing.
