My Students

I teach in a Title I district, where the majority of students receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. The students come to school ready to learn and know they are in a safe, loving environment. They come to us eager to learn and use the resources we have available to them. This group of students comes from backgrounds that lack appropriate resources for them to truly excel with their learning.

The students are coming to us ready to strive for the best.

My goal is to supply all I can, to ensure they will be successful and their future will continue to be bright.

My Project

By having headphones available for each student in our grade level, students will be able to listen closely to what they are doing with our new 1:1 Chromebooks without being a distractions to one another.

This project will help our Title I school district families with the added cost of such a simple item.

Our students will be so excited to learn and work harder with the use of headphones. The distractions of noises throughout our class will become limited and students will have more success with their work. Learning will become reinforced with the use of headphones so readily available.
