My Students

Our IB school includes students who represent a wide range of academic abilities including students with behavioral and academic supports, English Learners, and students from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

We are a K-8 International Baccalaureate school, which means we develop globally-minded inquirers who are caring and open-minded risk-takers.

As such, we focus on engaging students in meaningful learning through creative collaboration, project-based learning, and differentiated instruction. Every child deserves to play an active role in pursuing their goals and becoming a lifelong learner!

My Project

My students need a set of headphones to go with our Chromebooks. This will allow them to fully utilize all the amazing educational technology we have without all the external noise. As you might imagine, this is quite disruptive and limiting. My goal is to provide a quiet learning environment that allows all students in class to have full access to the learning programs.

Chromebooks provide access to fun, individualized reading passages with instruction in phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency as well individualized math goals.

Keeping students excited about reading and mathematics is key to engaging them as life-long learners! Please consider donating to our project. Thank you!
