My students need great stories on cd to listen to in our class listening center. Right now our class has only 4 older cassettes with books to use for the center.

My Students

Please help my second graders have a cd story book library for their listening center. They love to listen and follow along with story books but, we have a very limited choice in our classroom right now.

My students live in a low to moderate income area.

They are blue collar, hard working families from Oklahoma. Many students were affected or know someone close to them who was affected by the May 2013 tornado. There are many students from military families as well.

My Project

I am asking for multiple books with Cd's to have a library in our class listening center. I am asking for 4 CD players to go with the books on cd. These books on cd's will help my students practice their reading skills and enable them to have a great choice of reading materials to choose from.

Please help my second graders have a fantastic listening center in their classroom.
