My Students

I love how my students teach me new things every day. Many of my students speak different languages at home and they love to teach me new words. Something that many of my students struggle with is the ability to bring supplies to school. Our classroom feels this as I then have to go out and buy things to make up the difference.

Despite all the challenges my students have to overcome they are strong and they are brave.

They come to school every single day with a smile on their face and a positive attitude. It's inspiring!

My Project

In my room we have a big need for headphones. Every student needs them and most do not have them. We work on iPads every day and when only a few of the students have headphones it makes our room really noisy. It is hard to focus on what you are doing when you have another iPad making different noises in your ear.

If each student was able to have their own pair of headphones my classroom would be quiet and so much more conducive to learning.

They could easily focus on their own work and their own learning objectives.
