Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This project will benefit Second Grade students that are studious, good hearted, and love being creative. I have an amazing group of 25 students from low-income households. We use technology to complement learning and students are always eager to grow and learn.

My Project

Reading and comprehension is a very important skill that Second Graders need to develop and the listening station will prove beneficial to accomplish this. We already have a collection of audio books and CDs . Students will greatly benefit from the station which includes the CD player and 8 headphones.

The Listening Station will help our Second Grade students improve their reading skills.

Students will be able to listen to audio books and also practice phonemic and phonological awareness. The listening station will greatly increase their ability to read English and Spanish.
