Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students I serve attend a K-5 grade school in an urban area of Kansas City, Missouri. We are a Title I school and 100% of our students are provided free breakfast and lunch daily.

Their situations do not define them; their motivation, drive and passion for learning is what shapes them every single day.

I am proud to call them my students. I hope you can partner with me to bring better learning tools into their classroom.

My Project

Students love to use their iPads; they are deeply engaged with the technology, but 25 students using them all at once requires them to have the sound off! If every student had a pair of headphones, they would be able to use all the amazing features of their iPads!

I would be thrilled to allow each student a pair of headphones to use throughout the school year for use in small groups, whole group, for test taking and much more!

A donation to the headphones allows student to access all subject areas!
