My Students

As a teacher in a community where there are many free and reduced lunches, our students are faced with challenges both inside and outside of school. Our second grade students are determined to be successful no matter the boundaries.

I want to give my students every possible chance they can to be successful!

We are a Blue Ribbon School and we want to continue our achievements by enriching our reading program. Our students need diverse resources to aide in their learning.

My Project

Listen up! Jamaica's second grade classrooms are looking to increase our differentiation within our reading centers. Currently, we are limited to three unreliable headphones per classroom. Our listen to reading centers would thrive with this instant listening center. This project comes with EIGHT sets of headphones and an awesome wooden storage center that allows students to collaborate, listen, and read together!

A listening center has an unlimited amount of benefits for students.

This listening center will enrich 8 different students per class at a time. For our learners who learn through auditory means will be able to find a deeper love for reading! The ultimate goal!
