Our Resource program is made up of a community of diverse, diligent learners. For many of our learners, school is their safe place. I'm blessed to work with an amazing team and have a classroom that our students consider a safe zone, where successes and challenges are celebrated daily.
We serve several small groups of students each day, providing intensive academic and social supports.
Our Resource team also supports general education classrooms to help students meet core academic needs along side their peers. A big part of our support team's daily goal is to ensure that our high needs students are able to utilize tools and strategies to be as successful as possible.
My Project
Students at my elementary school break out into small learning communities around the school several times each day. These small groups enable students to receive valuable interventions based on their rate of progress and individual learning needs. A class set of sturdy headphones will allow our students to focus on digital learning lessons. Focus is essential for students to be successful in the digital learning environment. This set of headphones will help my students to log in faster and work more comfortably, allowing them to use their online learning time as an effective learning tool.

My school incorporated school wide small group digital learning for math and reading this past school year, making the cost of technology (programs, hardware, and accessories) a huge line item on our school budget. We have seen great growth on a school wide level, but even more so on an individual level. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford even the most basic supplies. Please help me to get my students the supplies we need for a successful digital learning program.
