This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are awesome. They try hard even though there are deficits that can keep them from attaining what they want to accomplish temporarily.
Let me introduce you to my students.
My students come from all types of backgrounds and ethnicities and are surrounded by neighborhoods that are poverty stricken with limited resources. Some are seldom awarded for trying their utmost best and my aim for this project is to celebrate my students who I know try their best to accomplish their goals in Algebra.
My Project
Since technology is ever evolving, and is necessary for classroom participation and learning, it is pertinent that all students are able to have the resources necessary for engaging in learning. Students will use the headphones to complete video quizzes and necessary listening engagements in each Math Lesson.
In a digital world of computers, cell phones, and many others, headphones are used as an accessory to have one on one time with the technology.
In my classroom, my students are in need of a class set of Headphones for the students who cannot afford headphones or do not have headphones at the time of need.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
