My Students

Our students are creative, risk-takers, and inquirers. They come from low-income households and do not have much experience with the world outside other than their small community and the five boroughs.

Many of our students are young and were in school for the first time this year.

Usually in Kindergarten you have a lot of time to be hands on and interact with each other. The students were fast tracked to learn on devices that they usually play on. These headsets and whisper devices can give them a opportunity to be in their zone and learn in a quite environment.

My Project

Please help me give my students headphones and whisper devices for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in New York City. My student have access to a variety of books to read, math games and math materials, reading comprehension books, and hands-on learning materials all on the devices that we were lucky to have received.

My students need the headsets in order to listen and work with two amazing on line programs that we were fortunate enough to receive for the summer.

These programs are design for one on one learning, that make learning exciting!
