My students need headphones to use to listen to digital devices and work with learning apps and programs. This allows them to have differentiated experiences and focus on what they are learning.
My students are from a small town in Wisconsin. They have big hearts and focus on working together, being kind, and giving their best. They are active and love games to make learning fun and engaging. They love to move around and spread out to learn in comfortable ways.
They love opportunities to work in teams to solve real-world learning problems.
They support each other by peer tutoring, encouraging each other and being kind. Playing games and solving mysteries to learn is one fun way my kids are motivated to learn and use their knowledge to succeed.
Our small town hosts a polka festival each summer honoring the Polish heritage prominent in our community. Our Fifth Grade class is committed to our community and has taken opportunities to give back by Christmas caroling and leaving Kindness rocks around the community.
My Project
Having a set of quality headphones allows my students to dive into the digital world of learning by listening to directions, interacting with learning apps and learning videos. We use many apps that require listening to directions or explaining. I also make learning videos to reteach concepts and share them with students to learn. To be able to focus on watching and listening they need quality headphones.
Learning in differentiated ways is essential to 21st Century Classrooms!
Access to headphones allows students to listen to books on digital devices, hear and follow along with directions on many learning apps we use in our classrooms. Digital learning is a part of our world and having access to headphones will support this type of learning and allow students to learn about so much more that is available in our digital world!
