My Students

I teach 15 amazing students in an elementary site-based Special Education classroom. My students range from kindergarten through 5th grade and have special needs such as Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, and Other Health Impairments.

They love school and want to learn!

They each have their interests and favorite subjects. Some of them love Roblox, others can tell you everything you ever needed to know about certain animals. They love math, science, and art! They are a wonderful fun group of kids.

My Project

My students need new headphones to be able to listen to programs, stories, and tests on our classroom iPads. In my classroom we use iPads for Accelerated Reader quizzes, iReady Math, and IXL Math.

The headphones in my classroom are old, and most of them are broken or missing pieces.

It makes it difficult for my students to use them and to hear what is being said in there lessons. The headphone jack splitters will be useful for staff to be able to hear what the student is listening to when they are trying to assist them with their lessons. The mini wireless keyboard will be useful for controling our projection computer from across the room during lessons.
