This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need a listening center so that they can listen to books that I read in class and other books. They will be able to learn different sights words while a book is being read. They can work on comprehension of stories while they are listening. They will be able to enjoy books and learn from non-fiction books as well. I also want them to work on their listening skills.

My students love to listen to books and now they will appreciate when there are other people reading them to the students.

The books many times have music intertwined with the story and make the stories more interesting.
