My Students
The students that I will be working with are students in the Front Royal Virginia area that may be at risk. They are four year olds that are eager to learn and come to school.
These students need a little extra help and are sponges that are just waiting to absorb all of this new and exciting information. I have not yet met my little munchkins, but I will soon! I cannot wait for them to flourish this upcoming year.
My Project
These materials will help my students in many different ways. The cd player, head phones, and books are so that the students will have a listening center within the classroom.
This center will allow students to follow along while reading and to add new words to their vocabulary. The students will be able to observe the pictures to help them understand and comprehend the story that is being read to them.
These materials are necessary in order to make this center possible. The students will learn comprehension skills, imagery, and listening skills. There are different books that cover several genres.
