Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse range of learners and represent multiple nationalities, languages, and diverse needs. Our classes are part of a Dual Language program that promotes bilingualism, biliteracy and multiculturalism through a world lens. From Kindergarten through 5th grade, students in this program strive to the highest of academic and personal standards and are excellent community members, role models, and world citizens!

The materials in this project will allow my students to participate in both distance and digital learning both in the classroom and at home.

Access to headphones and the listening center will allow them to listen to programs, work in live meetings and participate on the go to continue growing and learning during these uncertain times, especially facing the challenges that COVID-19 and the global pandemic have faced us with as students and educators. Leveled readers will help my struggling readers to grow, learn and prosper. These materials will allow each student to have access to the tools they need regardless of socioeconomic status and will provide equal access to learning to all of my students.
