My students need headphones to listen to books, play educational games like Imagine Learning (great for English Language Learners), and use SeeSaw.

My Students
I have 27 amazing students! Many of my students are refugees from all around the world. 90 percent of my students live in poverty. We are a diverse group, who love learning, our community school, reading books, learning American history and making connections. Our favorite thing is to play soccer and incorporate it into our learning!! We would love a listening center to help with literacy and Social studies. My ELL (English Language Learners) students can listen to books and develop language.
My Project
Independent learning centers (or stations) are various setups around the classroom where students can go to work independently or with a partner on a specific activity. When you use centers, your students will all be working and learning English, but they’ll be doing it in different ways—just like how everyone at the carnival games is trying to win a plush unicorn, but playing different games to get it.
The key is that these are different activities with the same goal, different roads to the same destination.
Listening center give students a choice to work independently or with a partner depending on what the activity specifies.
