Our school is a Title I school that is nestled in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our small, community school is the heart of our neighborhood. At L.G. Elementary we pride ourselves on our ability to reach all learners through various learning experiences and resources.

It is important that we provide learning experiences that reach all learners and incorporate technology as often as possible. These new learning center activities would ensure that all learners would get the most out of our curriculum during Guided Reading Lessons.
My Project
We are in need of improving our current listening center. We use a listening center as an independent activity during the Guided Reading portion of our day.
We would like to upgrade our headphones, include rechargeable batteries, and add a charging station for our iPads.
These new headphones are child-sized, adjustable, padded and tangle free. We hope this will aid in the transition of center activities. A charging dock will be a big improvement, as our iPads are in a pile on the table and the cords are a challenge. Using rechargeable batteries will save on costs of replacements.
