My Students

Our school is welcoming and accepting of the differences individuals have. Students and staff celebrate one another's differences and are loved for them.

The community of our school makes it a wonderful place to for kids to grow and become the best versions of themselves.

My students know that my classroom is a safe place to be themselves. When they relax, they learn more and better.

That is why I strive to make my classroom a welcoming environment where all students are comfortable.

My Project

Student learn in a variety of different ways, and we as teachers try to appeal to all of those different learning styles when creating lessons. When it comes to encouraging students to read and attempting to get them to love it, it can be challenging for students who struggle to read traditional print books.

Audiobooks are a fantastic addition to any reading routine.

They can be especially helpful for students who struggle, allowing them to hear the stories and understand them better. ESOL students especially would benefit from having a book to listen to, while following along with the print version.

I hope that by adding these MP3 players into my classroom library, I can appeal to different types of learners and readers. No matter how old you get, it is always a treat to listen to a story!
