My Students

My students are eager to learn and reach their goals. The students move from room to room and to different grade levels in order to meet their individual needs. Some need to be challenged and extended and some need to focus on basic skills in order to build a foundation.

Engaging my students and making learning fun is the key to success.

My students know that goal setting, perseverance and having a growth mindset is the key learning. My class is a risk free environment where we take chances and learn together!

My Project

We use headphones daily in our class. The children use them for listening to stories on the iPad, working on math and reading educational apps, and creating blog posts on our classroom blog.

By donating to this project the children will be able to stay focused and not distract other children while working.

Literacy and math group activities are self selected and the children work in different areas in the classroom with flexible seating. Using headphones helps the children stay engaged in learning. We are down to 8 working headphones in our class now. We need new sturdy headphones that do not fall apart in little hands!
