Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to COVID-19 my district spent some time online. We are now back to in-person learning. Every student has their own Chromebook now so they can access all of their school work when they have to miss school. In my Spanish class I try to provide my students with a variety of language input. While learning a new language it is important for learners to be exposed to the language. In my class students have access to different audio. With a new class set of headphones all students will be able to listen on their own device without having to hear every other devices in the class. Snacks will be used for students that are hungry during class and need a snack to help them focus better. I will also use the snacks in my class store. Students earn PBIS points for their positive behavior and then get to buy prizes with their points. Creating a positive classroom environment makes it a better place for everyone specially for those students that are still struggling with the challenges everyone has faced in the recent years.
