My Students

I work in a district that is 100% Title I, and 100% of students at my school receive free lunch. Although my school is considered "high needs," and the students face major life challenges outside of the classroom, they are eager and ready to learn. My students face various struggles outside of school that make it hard to concentrate in the classroom. My goal is to make school a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where students want to be!

I believe that all students have the right and capability to see success and enjoyment in their learning.

I plan on growing and learning right alongside my students during my second year teaching. I am so excited and eager to use the passion I have for reading, education, and learning to help my own classroom of students!

My Project

My students have learning that they do on their iPads which requires them to use headphones. Our current headphones are falling apart, and most of them are breaking or already broken. I don't have enough headphones for all my kids anymore.

These headphones would allow all of my students to work and learn in comfort.

My kids have been through so much in their short lives, and I really strive to make our classroom a place of comfort and safety. I want my kids to know that they will never go without in our classroom. Providing reliable and sturdy headphones is a part of that puzzle.
