Kindergarten is the foundation of student's education. There is a song..."ABC-Easy as 123". However, this is not always the case. If you struggled in school, you know how difficult school can be on some students. We need to ensure our students that we are doing our best to lay a solid foundation.
My students are amazing, bright, energetic four and five year olds.
Each and every one is unique in his or her own way. Our school is a High Risk/ High Poverty school with a very low percentage of parental involvement. It is my job as their teacher to make the most of each and every minute I am able to spend with them.
My Project
The resources I am requesting will help add excitement to our classroom in so many ways! Students love working in learning centers. I am asking for listening center supplies, including center Listen and Learn activity boxes, cordless headphones and an ABC Hear It, Say It practice center.
By 1:30 p.m., students are done with me! Sad, but true. I take advantage of my learning centers at this time. The listening center supplies will guide students through amazing lessons without having to listen to me! Even when students are beginning to shut down after a long and exhausting day, we will make the most out of each and every minute!
I am so excited about submitting this project!
I am eager to get our project funded for our class so I can see the smiles their face! Students will develop a deep understanding of phonics and continue having fun while learning!
