Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very anxious and eager to learn this year. They are active participants in the learning process every day. They want to be at school learning and playing with their friends. They need socialization skills that help young children grow and learn.

My Project

I am requesting headphones for my students so they can use technology in the classroom without having to listen to background noise. My students are from low to middle-income families. It is very hard for them to get the supplies they need. In addition to the headphones, my students need crayons and colored pencils for different projects all year long. Every child wants new crayons and colored pencils to start the year off with. We learn about the Georgia regions and rivers and colors would make the activities much more presentable. In Science and Social Studies, we do projects that will need color added to give them the extra something it needs.
