This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

"Too Many Faces of First Grade" is my motto for my students. I will have the opportunity to bond with my students and learn all of their many personalities. By embracing them with all the many resources that are out there, I have to make sure their learning experience is a memorable one.

My students are full of life, dreams, and self-confidence.

They're determined to learn more by creating their own voice and expressing themselves. Not only will they empower others to do their best, but they will empower themselves as well.

My Project

This project contains headphones and chapter books for my classroom. As we continue to scrunch down to the end of the school year, my students continues to flourish academically. My high readers are moving up and now able to read chapter books, and that where I fall short. I want to build a collection of chapter books for my advance readers and why not choose a book series with fascinating, adventurous settings. Not only will they enjoy meeting new characters, they will explore new vocabulary. They will expand their imagination. My students need headphones as well to concentrate on the literacy programs that is enhancing their knowledge and literacy skills.
