This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Enthusiastic, interested, driven, focused, encouraging and amazing! These are my students on a daily basis. I see the entire school each week, and these students are always eager to learn about our new topic of the week.
Most of our students are Title l students and struggle with day-to-day items such as three meals a day.
They get up each day, come to school, and are ready to learn. It is truly amazing to meet and teach such students.
My Project
We need need three portable CD Players and three Voice Recorders for Chorus. I am requesting these materials because many of my students do not have the capability to practice at home due to the lack of a playing back device. I would like my students to be able to listen to themselves singing and also practice their music independently at home.
Sometimes we can tell students over and over, but until they hear their own mistakes, They cannot fix them.
Recording devices will make it easy for my students to listen to themselves and fix tiny mistakes. My goal is to improve the quality of singing for each child in chorus class.
