My Students

My fourth grade students are part of a low income public school that services a 95% military dependent population. These kids are kids are tough because they have to be. They deal with stresses that require a flexibility and mental fortitude well beyond their young years.

"They are strong and they are resilient, they are adaptable, they are well-traveled and fiercely patriotic.

They are bright, inquisitive and eager to help out, whether that is at home or in their communities. " These words very aptly describe my students, what it does not describe is the anxiety and stress that come from having a parent serve in the military, who can come and go at a moments notice.

These military dependents deserve a comfortable, worry-free, safe environment in which to learn. A safe haven from the struggles and worries of their parent's commitment to our country, a place that gives them a bit of control in hectic lives, and the power to say this is how I learn and work best.

My Project

The last few years in education have been a rollercoaster of new experiences for students and teachers. Quality headphones that allow students to listen and learn, as well as record their thoughts and create projects to demonstrate mastery as essential in this new adventure in education.

These headphones are an essential element in my students accessing and utilizing the educational resources available to them in the best possible

manner! From zoom meetings, to recording fluency, and creating presentations to demonstrate learning and mastery students need to have access to these high quality technology tools.
